Get the medical vest! It’s the best my puppy 🐶 git “fixed” a week ago and is doing amazing. She had the cone, and she wasn’t eating or drinking

please get the pain meds to go home with. I noticed a huge difference between my big dog and my lil dog. my lil girl dog still had alot of energy so it was a little difficult to keep her calm

You are doing exactly what you should do for sweet Oreo :) the vet will give you some meds to take home she will probably be sleepy the first day but pretty much back to normal after that! Get a cone!

get a onesie for her to wear during her recovery. my shih tzu wore a 12 month or 18 month onesie my daughter outgrew to keep her from chewing and licking

She is still a baby and will recover well and quickly. Just make sure she isn’t jumping around, the younger they are the harder it is to keep them from jumping around.

One of my dogs has bad car sickness too, what seems to help her is making sure she’s laying down and not trying to stand up. For longer road trips I give her an anti nausea pill and a melatonin 1/2

She should have pain meds. Vet can prescribe. Just make sure she’s comfortable in her crate or bed and have her potty on a potty pad maybe for the first day or first few hours when she gets home

if she needs a cone after and she doesn't like it buy a onesies that babies wear. might have to change it often if she is lacking or biting down there. worked for me.

If you’re getting her fixed PetSmart has an inflatable after surgery collar, use that instead of that uncomfortable plastic one the vet tries to give you and she will be so much more comfy after

Make sure you add the wellness package to your insurance package. Covers basic stuff like annual exams and vaccinations. Use the body wrap not the cone, less stress for her. Spay is the word.

make sure you get her a surgery suit off of amazon! it keeps her from biting at her scar without having to keep that huge cone on her. huge life saver my my dramatic baby

car sickness - my lucy has it. theres a medicine they can give any time you go in the car. can’t think of the name, but the only downside is you have to give it 3 hours before travel.
