why would you not drop the timing chain, remove the cams plugs ect even the head basically as much as possible to make it easier to turn ,also let it soak in a tub of diesel for a week first 🤷🏼♂️

I got 2 of those AJ engines out of running cars, to convert one V12 Jag engine to quad cam 4 valves per cylinder. one head needed flipping back to front and extensive modding at "now front" for cams.
