I’m in school to be a therapist, I could never imagine dropping someone over the reason they might see a therapist.

Dropping someone who just committed suicide who is clearly gonna be in a very, very low point in their life, dropping them at that point in their life can be one of the most harmful things because if they are so suicidal, and they have tried to make an attempt, why would they bother going out and trying to find another therapist which can take months sometimes when they could just try to kill themselves again any therapist who will just drop a client like that out of nowhere just because they have hurt their selves or tried to kill themselves with a horrible horrible therapist

I don’t think that is right. I am not a therapist. But my guess is yes the therapist is probably obligated to call 911 or alert other authority. But maybe working together and hopefully setting up a

I’m so glad I got a good therapist both times 😭, they told me if I did attempt I’d get more sessions per week since I had the more “severe handling” therapists already. They’d just redo my care plan.

Guys what are your therapist on?!?! Mine was so happy I called her and told her what happened and then went to the hospital to get further help!! I see her weekly still two years after the attempt 😭
