You’re supposed to actually get it checked every 6 m I went a year w/o checking mine & my body started to reject it after 2 years They tried to manually remove it &they couldnt get it out had surgery

Once you get an iud it’s be to get it check a couple weeks after. With heavy bleeding it could push the iud out without you knowing. Which one do you have ?
