Not to mention, the ship has an itenarary! They can’t be late to leave one port because they’ll be late to the next one. And that’s not fair to all the other PAID passengers who got back on time.

100% agree. And I wanna add… if you are late they usually call your name over the loud speaker, they call your cell phone and they do their best to get in touch with you to see how far away you are.
