Hi friend! I agree with you on all of these. My eldest is 9 and goes to bed at 7. He's awake no matter what time he goes to bed at 5.30am so early bedtime.

I miss the early to bed 😂 my youngest is 13 next week, he's now bed at 9 light out at 9.30. eldest is nearly 17 and I say good night to him and leave him to it 😂 we used to have a stricken 7pm bed.

My kids always had bed times - even into teenage years - I needed my time . Def swimming both mine were swimming so so early - we lived with a pool in the garden it’s an essential skill .

I agree my 10year old is in bed by 7.30 (unless he has football) but it’s 8pm then! I need to stop being mum for a few hrs 😂 riding a bike is another! Mine both swim and it makes so much 1/2

Past the age of about 5/6 they are not gonna go to bed at 6, and I think it’s actually unfair to do so!

Literally, neither kid is staying up past 7:00 😂 4yo sleeps until 7:00am and 1yo sleeps until 9:30 if we don’t wake him at 8:30 like we do nursery days 😂xx

I can’t lie, my 5yo twins go to bed at 5:30-6 because that’s what they want and need. But my 4yo and 3yo go 6-9pm.

One of my granddaughters used to beg to go to bed at 5 ish, we had to try n hold out until 6ish 😂 so i think it’s an ok bedtime 🥱
