@homeless.backpacker: The story of the most resilient doggies I've ever met: We stumbled upon this little guy and a handful of other dogs inhabiting a remote mountain village sitting at 4,500 meters above sea level along the Huayhuash trek in the Peruvian Andes These dogs live in the purest form of nature, freely exploring these vast mountains day in and day out. But at night, they need to endure the unforgiving climate, sleeping outdoors in temperatures plummeting to -15 degrees. When we woke up from our tent in the morning, we found the dogs covered from head to toe in frost and ice. Which happens every night as they sleep on the frozen grass.
