The king thing is straight wrong. We pronounce our S in the normal way. It’s a way of differentiating between different phonemes that sound similar.

‘choritho’ is already anglicised in pronunciation, the TH sound already exists in english! putting on a spanish accent would be tapping the R and enunciating the first O fully
