I always slur, I have anxiety, and it gives me anxiety when people look at my mouth, half the time I speak I don’t open my mouth all the way, which sounds like slurring

Definitely could be something neurological. I have a neurological illness and my words slur, especially when I’m tired or stressed. 🙏

Did they change your meds? Higher doses of some of the antipsychotics caused me to have delayed speech and slurring.

Check into FND: Functional Neurological Disorder. I’ve recently been diagnosed. It stems from years of trauma combined with extreme stress and can be “set off” by a virus or illness.
