@mezecurls: Part 1: Let’s blow-dry my daughter’s 4c hair. This is what I did: 1. I finger detangled her hair with water and conditioner 2. I shampooed, conditioned, and detangled with a comb/brush 3. I sectioned her detangled hair and twisted it to prevent it from getting tangled again 4. I sprayed water and heat protectant as needed and used @myrevair dryer to stretch her hair. Lightly damp hair works best for me when using Revair dryer. My daughter’s simple hair regimen I shampoo and condition her hair every two weeks but it may vary depending on her hairstyle and activity. After that, I apply a moisturizing leave-in conditioner and do a simple protective style that will last her for at least two weeks or until her next wash day. Tips that have helped me grow my daughter’s hair 1. Moisturize - I use the LCO method to moisturize her hair 2. Do protective styles and limit tight hairstyles. 3. Be gentle when detangling. 4. No relaxers - I know this is hard for some people, but it’s worth a try. 5. Limit the use of direct heat - like flat irons and hot combs Remember that hair growth is also driven by genetics. So one child’s hair growth journey may look different from another child’s. Hope this is helpful.
