A wise professor always said frustration is where reality and expectation meet. It's ok to be frustrated- keep going but with the next appointment explain your expectations with a new doc!

my 3 yesr old was constantly congestion a good 3 weeks a month, like bad congestion. I took her to the ENT and she needs her tonsils and adenoids out.

Our daughter had laryngomalacia and congestion. We went to an ENT. They prescribed pepsid. We eventually stopped and she is now 8 months and it has corrected itself once she has started solids!

This is so similar to my son! He had horrible congestion his whole life and projectile vomiting. Finally pushed for a specialist who said oh it’s reflux… didn’t believe it but started him on Pepcid.

Our ent was great. Found out my son had laryngomalacia but he also had severe reflux. He was put on meds to help as for the laryngomalcia they said he would grow out of it

Also see a pediatric GI.. cmpa can cause congestion as well. Reflux also goes hand in hand with largyngomalcia

Reflux that has left these symptoms since birth should show up on the scope, if it was reflux that doctor should have wanted to give a prescription.

I told the ENT she sounded like she has something in her throat that’s not clearing, she immediately did a scope and dx laryngomalacia with reflux. They typically go hand in hand. We are on Pepcid
