@nectarseltzer: Story time: we were at the gate 30 mins before the flight was scheduled to take-off (9 mins before actual boarding was set to begin…so in total, we had roughly 25 mins to board the plane: 9m + 15m w/ an extra 15m for them to seat everyone & close the doors). We were standing in line when they told us they weren’t going to let us on the transfer shuttle to get to the plane. They werent even going to let us attempt getting on the shuttle to try and make the flight (we had plenty of time). The one lady had mentioned the shuttles take 5-20 mins to arrive, only for the next shuttle to pull up 5 mins into our interaction. We still had roughly 20 mins to make the flight. She had mentioned it was 8 mins to our gate…we had 10-12 mins to spare..leaving an ADDITIONAL 15 mins for them to close the doors and take off. they refused any attempts of radioing the gate and explaining the situation. there were at least 12 of us that got stranded from what i saw. They refused to give us refunds. I had to pay triple the cost to get on a different airline flight in order to make it to my destination on time 😭 On that later flight…they delayed take-off for 20 mins to wait for a dad and his infant. So its very possible for airlines to wait a little if they want. #customerservice #airport
