My mother is a professional Filipino martial artist, she can turn broom, slipper, belts and even a hanger as projectiles and weapons.

I always tell people. If you want to just fight neutralize threat, BJJ is great. If you want to learn how to survive and kill when you have no other option, eskrima/filipino martial arts is undefeated

Hard to compare. Fma is more for war, quick practical killing. It’s not really a sport. That’s why it’s used by the military. Bjj good for sports, mma rules. Both successfully different.

they thijk eskrima is just a person with a stick but the stick is just a placeholder for a weapon bcoz they hit ALL critical points 😭 my GM can do 8 hits in like 2 secs and he was retired!!!
