While John Lennon’s critique of ‘excellentness’ is fair enough, the Beatles’ music is actually pretty difficult to play. It’s a lot more sophisticated than it first seems.

I think that Phil Collins thing is a non incident. Paul could’ve said that cause Phil was a kid extra in the film Hard Days Night and it was just an innocent throwaway comment. Big deal.
