this is so me I talk to Allah about him in every prayer.i cried for him in lailatul qadar(2023). I love him way too much. I prayed the exact same words. I was then bit hopeless and started to back off but can't stop myself to make dua for him for us and then left things in Allah's hand and 2024 before Ramadan him and his family came all the way to my country for us and talked for our marriage still I make dua for us for our better future Inshallah we will get nikahfied soon our parents agreed and things worked. I thank Allah every day now and also thank Allah on lailatul qadar.
