As a reading tutor this is amazing to me. When we teach consonant blends we take extra care to point out that “tr” sounds like “ch” so the fact that she didn’t say it clearly for you is so unfair!!

oh, I get this!! My Restaurant Operations teacher in highschool was super picky about the color our grilled cheeses came out. I'm still annoyed making then now 🤣😂 35 years ago! 🤦♀️😫🤣
