Yeah this is true I gave birth 3 weeks ago and I had extra fluid I swear I was in early labour for 3 days before they induced me they said the baby was just bouncing in and out of my pelvis.

I was diagnosed with severe polyhydramnios at 23 weeks. I had 14 amnioreductions where they took approx 34 litres of fluid. Not a typo.

I had plyhydramnios and the amount of fluid that came thundering out of me when they broke my waters was obscene. They had to move me and clean the floor

have you been told to call ambulance and get into downward dog position if your waters break. i have had poly with 2 pregnancies and was given this advice as high risk for cord prolapse dueto pressure

Midwife here. You’re right.. excess fluid can make it difficult for baby to engage and put pressure on the cervix, which is what progresses the labour.

I had poly as well, they told me that I would never have gone into labor on my own because the sac prevented the pressure on the cervix
