Ultra Sounds are printed by a thermal printing process, like some receipts 😅 so laminating will turn them black!

The heat messes with thermal paper, i used no heat laminating sheets that’s just stick to each other :)

So laminating anything for preservation purposes is bad cause the air-tightness means the acids in paper and ink can't escape and degrade the paper quicker over time

Oh that’s sad 😢 the clinic I worked at used an actual photo printer with ink so you could have laminated them.

The hospital didn’t give me anything but 2 one at 8wks 1 at 20wks so when I went to a private photo place she printed them on like a cardstock paper so they’ll never go bad 😭✨
