I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gammon steak in an English restaurant/pub, but gammon egg and chips I know, but don’t really see. 1/2

oh cool. I think it's the same in the US, but in Canada (ON) at least, there isn't a distinction between ham and gammon. it's just raw ham and cooked ham here

we have smoked ham here we buy in a roll like that- smoking it does cure/cook it, and then we have other pork roasts like cook up pink like that. so good!
