You know how many books I've read with words spelled wrong? and that goes through the writer, spell check, editors, publishers, etc... people whose ACTUAL job is WORDS specifically, and its wrong! 🙃

every comment I've seen says it's on the client. it's on the client. I purposely misspelled an inside joke. I checked the stencil. end. we all know who's to blame

Is it unfortunate when the artist misspells it. Yeah. BUT Stencil check. In the end the client needs to check. Client is final approval.

my friend got a tattoo with initials and the artist put the stencil on, my friend said it looked good, and got it tattooed only to realize the initials were opposite, she knows it’s not the artists-

my sister and I were getting matching tattoos. we both checked and the tattoo artist checked. he was literally tattooing the start of the sentence on my foot and I was like "WAIT STOP" and he (1/2)

I'm a beginner tattoo artist and I just... I can't fathom how the client doesn't see it first? I know blind tattoos are a thing but I don't think this was the case

Don’t they draw it first then transfer it onto the skin and then tattoo what they transferred there so she should’ve checked it before the actual tattooing started. Don’t just trust the tattoo artist,

I had an artist like 15 years ago spell a tattoo wrong even though it was right on the stencil. Probably wiped away, so we fixed it. I wasn't mad, I thought it was hilarious because...

I'm dyslexic, I send the design the day before with strict instructions to check the spelling, I check it again at the studio and after the stencil is applied, if it's still wrong, it's on them.
