@emie.hogg: I used to be sceptical about what if I kill my plants after I pinch them. Did you? It is best to pinch them to encourage the side shot to appear. Then you will get the benefit of more buds and flowers. In the clip it was Dahlia bishop that I grew from seeds. I've got given so not sure will it be my favourite yet.
