For me it feels like I’m remembering something as it’s happening. Like I can’t predict what someone’s about to say, but as they are saying it I feel like I already knew they were going to say it etc

it's like having a dream and then that dream coming true. technically it's your brain recalling memories that are close to your current experience so it feels like you are doing it again.

My experience is having a vivid dream & many times months or years later seeing the things seen in the dream happen before me. I had more as a kid into my early 30s. Now in my 40s, maybe 1 in 10yrs

Have you ever watched a movie and started to realize you recgonize scenes and think you’ve seen that movie before? That’s what dejavu feels like but with a real life scenario.

It's just like all of a sudden you realize you've experienced this exact scene before. Like a living re-run. It only lasts a few second though.

Apparently there's a thing in our family where we have these crazy vivid dreams of places and situations and then they actually happen to us. That's how we get our dejavu moments

I've experienced Déjà rêvé, which is similar, but it's a really intense epiphany sensation that's wrapped in a memory. it feels like reality has sparkly edges for a second; like a new hyperfixation.
