As a sub who did long term, I had planning time taken from me. I had to use my 40 minute meeting time to collaborate at the start of the day before students get there to plan😡

How about cutting bi-monthly behavior grades that affect nothing and weekly spreadsheets for the same answers. At the upper grades, especially English, that period of planning time is NEVER enough.

Yes! It’s so important to build sustainable systems - if there’s no way to have classes covered and time for teachers to plan, then the system is not sustainable, even if it’s “normal.”
