Like you mentioned it’s starts off really slow and my 1st grader is complaining that math and reading are too easy( we are start with the 1st light unit) would you suggest skipping to the 2nd or 3rd ?

Are the cards absolutely required for a Christian Light LA- 2 ? I didn’t even realize the cards might be required. It’s almost another 80.00 to get the phonics and Spelling Cards 😭

We have been using Christian Light for 6 years and love it! The only difference is I used the Learning to Read program as part of their kinder. Then light unit 1 started in first grade 😊

Thank you so much!! I used to be a school teacher and started back in August my first year home schooling. Researched so much and settled for TGTB but didn’t feel like it flowed and was too easy.
