This garlic butter fried rice with steak is definitely givin a GREEN FLAG vibeeee. It has got to be one of my favorite creations that I've made recently. It has such a restaurant-quality taste, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. 🥲 I'm patting myself on the back! Yield: 2 750g cold rice 1 tbsp Kewpie mayo 1 tbsp butter 5 cloves garlic 2 eggs 1 spring onion Salt Black pepper Sugar I also added some truffle paste because I'm extra, but of course, it's optional. 😋 Coat your rice with Kewpie mayo. This will give it that extra creaminess and make it tasty. Heat up your pan or wok and melt the butter, then add the eggs to scramble. Add your rice, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Adjust according to your taste and finish with spring onion. Cook your steak with salt, pepper, and bast with some butter (mine was scotch fillet and about 350g) to your preferred doneness and set it aside to rest while making the sauce. Black pepper sauce: 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp honey 1.5 tbsp water Black pepper to taste Once you're done cooking your steak, in the same pan add the sauces above just to heat up and set aside. To assemble: Fill a rice bowl with rice and unmold it onto a plate. Cut your steak into thin strips and cover the rice with steak. Scoop some of the sauces on the steak. This is optional, but since I had salmon roe, I topped it with creamy egg yolk and chives. Don't forget to take a picture of your beautiful creation and tag me because I'd love to see it! Mix it through and enjoy 💕✨ 🛒 Shop my favourite kitchen and homeware products on the link in my bio❤️ #Japanesedinner #Japanesecooking #DinnerIdeas 🍚🥩🍳🌱
