@travel_enthusiast_xcii: Viewed the NY 2024 Solar Eclipse today using the Pinhole Projector Cereal Box trick! Was without the Eclipse glasses at first but I googled how else I could view the solar eclipse safely and came across this method! Save this reel for the next solar eclipse in case you don’t have the glasses! Below are the more in depth steps to creating this tool! Step 1: Assemble your supplies which include - An empty cereal box, aluminum foil, a pinhole needle, scissors, tape, a pen, a piece of white paper. Step 2: Place the cereal box on the white piece of paper and use the pen to trace the bottom Step 3: Now cut the traced piece of paper Step 4: Next make two rolls of tape and stick them to the back of the paper you just cut Step 5: Stick the cut piece of paper inside the cereal box with the tape facing down into the bottom of the box Step 6: Cut two square holes on the left and right sides of the top of the cereal box where the opening is. Try to make the squares as even as possible. Step 7: Now apply aluminum foil over the top of the left square hole you created. Step 8: Tape the foil you applied around the left square hole Step 9: Use the pinhole needle to punch a small circular hole in the middle of the foil Now head outside with your cereal box… With your back against the eclipsed sun place the right square hole of the box up against your eyes and witness the solar eclipse happening!! #solareclipse #solareclipse2024 #eclipse #eclipsesolar
Wait hold so you can See Like the sky with the clouds and all on that white paper?? Cuz that would be amazing honestly to see also See the sky clearly instead of just the Shadow of the Solar Eclipse!
