Call the airline and airport security to find out who works there and is giving out personal information. They have cameras everywhere.

My best guess is the mom works for the airline and got her family gate passes and they waited for you. I’m sorry that happened to you. That sounds scary.

I’d call the airline and report it. It’s all on camera and they should be able to identify them and investigate.
