@shellydoesdiy: Dresser Makeover Details👇🏽 This rustic antique chest desperately needed a makeover and, y’all, I absolutely love it! It has so much character. I left it complete with dents and dings from years and years of wear and every imperfection makes me love it that much more. I truly hope you love it as much as I do! Here’s how I did it: 1. Strip with QCS 2. Fill hardware holes 3. Sand with 120 then 220 grit 4. Clean with Stripwell Surface Cleanser 5. Paint wash with 1:4 Millstone paint: water. Paint it on, let it sit for 1-2 minutes and wipe excess. Let dry and repeat. 6. Seal with topcoat 7. Stain wash with 1:4 van dyke brown and greystone stains:water. Brush on, let sit 1-2 minutes and wipe off. Let dry. Repeat. 8. Seal with topcoat 9. Drill new holes and add hardware #dressermakeover #painteddresser #oldtonewfurniture
