Dude if its 10-30 its a blend, if its 15-30 its conventional regular oil, if its 15-30 now thats full synthetic oil, I get what ur saying but if both say 10-30 then its really the same oil.

it all also depends on your car. my older car with oil consumption problems gets the cheap full synthetic oil and a cheap filter as opposed to my newer car with less miles and no issues

Synthetic oil can also ruin your engine if you don't get it up to operating temp or are putting it in an older engine.
