Hire more finance people or have your sales people that can do financing. Most of the time the waiting is on finance managers getting through customers because there’s only a few of them working.

Dealers torture us until we give up and pay for something we shouldn’t.

Yes!! I just had the best experience because we did everything ahead and just had to walk in and sign. The sales guy is also a teacher and does alot of his deals via email!!!

Had the best car buying experience of my life recently- everything done remote, car delivered the next morning. ✔️

it's a tactic by the finance manager. if people waited and get tired, they most likely will say yes to tried to get the deal done ASAP.

25 minutes in and out when we bought two weeks ago! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Pre-negotiated terms were clutch!!

The waiting is ridiculous. Waiting and waiting and waiting for essentially nothing. I bought my Tesla. I literally came in, unlock the car and drove off. Everything else was done online.

All I hear is we should start our own dealership

I used Costco for a prearranged price, paid cash and it still took 3 hours. Next time I’m giving them a one hour time limit or I’m out.

I get it done in under an hour… only reason why it’s longer is because of the customer tbh…

I’ve been doing this for years lol it’s too simple and fast not too do. I’ve sold 7 vehicles this month already and my longest transaction was 30 minutes with delivery

Once a customer walks into F&I office, a good, intelligent, low pressure f/i manager, should have a customer in and out in 20 minutes. I have no issues asking people to buy product, but get em out

I spent 3 hours at a dealership, between showing up, test driving, negotiating only taking 1 hour. they had to cut me a check trade in was worth more than purchasing truck and was paid off.

last car was 3 hours total from test drive to drive out. Zero extra add-ons, had CU financing. Dealer fi guy hated me.

After just buying a new car a week ago, I’m rooting for AI to take over that industry.

I don't need the best rock bottom deal. If I go in to buy a car and they offer a couple grand off msrp with no bs fees and get me out of there, I'll buy it

duggie :
The reason why it takes so long is to get consumers so frustrated that they just agree with anything, literally anything to get out the door, which means more money for the dealership!

Next time I buy a car I’m telling them up front that I will walk away if I’m there longer than 30 minutes.
