@reginajeong: I’m so excited to finally present my little series, the idea of which I have been nurturing for a very long time! I have always been fascinated by Valyria and never found much about, so I decided to present my take on Valyrian culture through this cosplay series! The inspiration behind this idea was indeed the Targaryen dragons, many of which were named after Valyrian gods, so every deity I’ll be presenting will definitely be inspired by the dragon with their corresponding name. The mythological component is mostly inspired by Ancient Greek mythology with a pinch of my vision! The golden color palette for Syrax was a non-negotiable, as well as the wing-like shoulders. My head-canon for her story is as follows: Syrax was born out of a golden dragon egg along with her twin brother, Arrax. The twins had lived together, hunting the dreadful creatures that could harm early Valyrians, therefore protecting them from evil.
