When I was a kid there was an eclipse and all the shadows from leaves on trees turned crescent moon shaped, it looked weird & spooky.

I drove upstate from the city and I was sad that it was so cloudy, BUT THE EXPERIENCE!! OMG! It got totally dark out- so worth it🥹

Also In wny and the clouds opened up just enough for me to get a pic of the sun at totality. Amazing experience. I thought the clouds kinda made it better.

My brother and I traveled to Niagara Falls from ATL to see it and we only saw a bit because of clouds but the darkness was amazing!!
