@thebergerbungalow: A realistic day in the life at 5 weeks postpartum. I’ll admit it: finding a new rhythm between taking care of a toddler + baby, working, taking care of the animals and the house, etc. etc. is challenging, but I said it in this video and I’ll say it again. The most important things right now are doing the things that I need to do, and then resting + doing things that make me feel good. I wanted to wash my hair and do a few extra things in the garden that day, but I did what I could and snuggling with my babies is precious time that I do not get back. I’ll take the snuggles and playtime with them any day. During the postpartum stage, I try to focus a lot on rest, time in the sun, and fueling my body. One easy way that I fuel my body that does not take up extra time is by drinking cold-pressed juice from @Pomona Products - their juice comes in single-serve glass bottles that are perfect for on-the-go. The beet juice is one of my favorites, Avery’s favorite is mango (this would be SO good made into a sorbet), and Ian loves the strawberry. They have 18 flavors to choose from and every single flavor is 100% organic juice, never from concentrate, and does not have any added sugar or preservatives. We love juicing, but it takes time. If you are a busy parent and also love to juice, @pomonaproducts can help add some time back to your day and you are still getting fresh juice. You can buy their juices on Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, or on their IG shop! I 10/10 recommend trying them. Side note: beets are so nutrient-rich and are really good for you during pregnancy, postpartum (and in general). Maybe a year from now I will be able to feel more productive before 12pm, but for now, this is where I’m at, and I’m more than content with it. #postpartum #postpartumrecovery #postpartumjourney #5weekspostpartum #newborn #newmom #crunchymom #beetjuice
