i watched this with my mom and she literally has no memory of watching this with me and it crushes me. bc i see our relationship in this movie and it crushed me. and she cant even remember seeing this. because it didnt matter to her. and it’s stupid to feel this sad over a movie. but i do.

I hate the fact that so many people hate this movie because it “doesn’t make sense”, specifically this scene. Someone said “why are they even talking about this while everything else is happening?” THAT’S LITERALLY THE POINT!!! Amid the chaos, they still find the value in the smallest of problems, like how she thinks her daughter is getting fat and that she hates tattoos.

This scene HURT so bad. I wasn’t crying until this scene. I didn’t get it until this scene. And then I saw me and my own mom reflected back at me. And I lost it in the empty theatre until the usher came in to tell me I had to leave for the next movie
