I grew up with veal schnitzel, but chicken is cheaper so pubs stopped offering veal. Most comments are from people too young to know this!

As an Aussie i was always under the assumption that chicken schnitzel was German. So when i went to Berlin in 2023, you could imagine how heartbreaking it was when i realised it’s an Aussie take
