Australia has a similar system, learner and new drivers in the form of Ls red P and green P, it's supposed to be that but it turns into a road rage generator, interesting to see if Japan differs

when I went to Japan my car had one that was a magnet .I took the magnet back home .the rental charged me like 3 or 4 bucks for a lost magnet .it's a fun souvenir 😁

What they don't say is that the stop signs here could be just painted on the ground, 1 to 3 meters off the ground, or posted on the opposite side of the road. Stop sign chaos.

And an important thing to note is that some junctions the stop line is can be a little far from the actual intersection and it’s important to keep to that line coz large truck turning.
