we came into a rottie because he NEEDED to be out of a bad situation, I love him, he's a sweet dog, but he will be our last rottweiler. HE IS SO MUCH WORK.

THIS! I have a former friend who got a rottie without research, only dog that’s ever bitten me and drawn blood, he’d say “oh he’s just herding you” um no? You’re not training him properly

I adopted a dog from a shelter who ended up being a lab/chow/rottweiler. I love him but holy moly he is alot. He has no recall, not becauae I don't train, but because hes soooo damn stubborn.

Not all Rotties are the same. I have one that REQUIRES a 4 mile walk. Our other one wants to go back home after 1/4 of a mile. Know what you own and be responsible

We REALLY need to normalize researching dog breeds for months or even years before adopting/buying. I got a LGD from the shelter & I love her but omg I was NOT prepared.
