Not a rule about how many checks? Lots of restaurants have like 3 to 5 check rule to prevent this for the poor servicers.

always have the kids give their jersey number when they order. we used to do this. makes it easier for all

With teams, we always go by jerseys. Kids give their number when ordering anything, parents give their kids number. Server knows who is with who for bills.
