Nah, you forgot one important issue here, those can block the right mirror view for the driver. Even they are not blocking now, they will when the car is in motion as they are to secured to the seat.

One thing you failed to mention is the safety of the occupants. That load is not secured and any slight bump in the road will cause that to go into the drivers seat. Very unsafe
