He ventured to Lordran in hopes of fufilling his legacy, becoming the undead who escapes the asylum and rings the bells of awakening. When realizing he did not fit the description, he climbed to the rooftops of the asylum, freeing all the undead he could, in hopes one of them were instead the one to ring the bells. Oscar freed you, but was crushed by the demon patrolling the rooftops of the building. He was smashed into a room, where you find him, dying. He gives you estus, to help aid you in your escape, and tells you the saying his family has passed down for generations… “Thou who art Undead, art chosen... In thine exodus from the Undead Asylum, maketh pilgrimage to the land of Ancient Lords...
