@megandauphineeliving: I mean all was good until it wasn’t… Part 2 was totally tackling these doors. Getting the jambs in were a pain since this is an old home and everything is uneven and warped. It felt really good getting the trim up! Last night I caulked everything, next is painting! Love the barn door, do not love the thick trim seeping out around all the edges when it is closed so I’m tearing everything off, the trim and door jamb we built (which we were proud of). we bought drywall and putty and plan to make it a nice clean opening.
