@fuckmusket: I stopped paying attention to peoples reviews when I bought my excellent Bosch Range that people complained about...stating is was loud...when in fact is so quiet we forget to turn the fan off everytime we use it. When shopping for a hood, I came to realize whether $200 or $700 they are basically the same....again so may people talk about being loud....fact is range hoods are all pretty loud....it's a range hood people....this was at a price level 1 and it was easy to install and does the job...as you can see on the highest setting the fan works quite significantly.
