@thehomesteadingrd: Something special happens when you shift toward seasonal eating You value and appreciate those ingredients much more if you know you won't get them again for many months! Food waste goes down tremendously It encourages creativity in the kitchen You step into the rhythms of nature instead of human demand You can connect with and support your local farmers The ingredients are much fresher and more nutrient-dense You'll save money eating foods in season (always a plus!) I know it sounds lovely on paper, but sometimes, it can be hard to even know where to start. I've been there and I totally get it. Even as a dietitian, it took me YEARS to master the art of seasonal eating! If you're ready to ditch fast food and lean into slow, seasonal eating that will truly nourish you, you're in luck! I've joined hands with 34 other homesteading women to write a seasonal eating cookbook to help YOU get back into the rhythms of nature. It's filled with 60+ incredible, seasonal recipes in this spring/summer edition, PLUS it includes 19 articles on practical skills like how to make sauerkraut, how to piece out a chicken, how to dehydrate herbs, and much more! The best part is that it's currently on SALE during this launch week special (it ends 4/14)! Plus, you can get a double discount if you decide to go for the bundle deal (volume 1 &2) - highly recommend! Click the link in my bio ti get your own copy! 🫶🏼

I definitely agree with this. I spend the whole year waiting for mulberry, and it is always worth the wait. whereas the raspberries at market are so bland and they're not worth the price
