I loved watching this. We do this for bees all the time. Please though change the kind of hummingbird nectar. Red dye is to bad for the birds. But I’m so glad you feed them too.

By the way, not a carpenter bee. She’s a Red Mason Bee, a type of solitary bee! They are the best pollinators for your own garden as they usually only travel up to about 1/4 mile for food!🥰🥰🥰

FYI they advise against feeding hummingbirds and others the store bought red dyed sugar water. It’s safer to make it yourself at home 4 parts water 1 part sugar.

This is so lovely!!! Awesome that you keep nectar but switch to the clear kind. Better for the birds and you can get colorful feeders to attract the birds
