A lot of us rural towns ARE losing time. Kids are sent home on bus at noon. Some aren’t even home when class “resumes” therefore it’s a half day.

They are definitely losing curriculum time. Our school division sends kids home an hour early. Our lunch hour was only 40 minutes.

my son's school hasn't been doing any new instruction in afternoon. they sent a letter saying they were just going to start now... and I know I may be an outlier but I'd love summer school lol

In Ontario the Ed acts says 15 before the bell. Nothing for after but there’s some weird thing about 5 or ten minute before the lunch bell. I’ve looked it up many times. Hard to find.

As a working parent….I am so sick of this. I feel so powerless (if 400,000 letters aren’t doing it what am I going to do). My kids are not getting the education they deserve. Fund education properly.
