How do we even know if its a service dog? Is it difficult to bring proof? Can you just download it on your phone? To avoid this negative encounters?

There is no identification for them. They can ask is that a service dog and what tasks does it perform for you. Thats it

My husband dog is a service dog, everytime we eat outside and somebody wants to check service dog card or proof we just showed it that’s it.

in Canada you cannot refuse a person with a service dog and can only ask to see papers if the reason for having that dog is not clearly noticeable.
