@embracingecho: I tried to stay quiet for a while but this is going too far Disney.. The last time I went, I hadn’t been in two years and I only stayed for a few hours, and road very minimal rides. This was WITH DAS. Imagine not using it. I wouldn’t even be able to go ever again.. I’m missing out on a family trip to Disney this month because I am unable to participate due to my disability. #DisneyDiscrimination #EqualAccessForAll #AccessibleDisney #DisabilityRights #InclusiveAccommodations #disneyinclusion
As someone with an autistic kid, the line for DAS had become so long that we have a hard time even waiting on that line to get our pass. I sympathize but am grateful Disney is trying to fix this.

Universal does it where you need to show medical note which I never minded I’d rather that than who lies

Thank you! I am one of those disabled people that is affecting. I had a massive stroke 13 yrs. ago, and my left side doesn’t work properly. Crowds make my body spasm. And it effects left side

I have pots and just registered yesterday. I told them I will lose consciousness in line with zero warning. And the close proximity, cement and rock walls often lining lines are a huge danger to me.

as someone with narcolepsy with cataplexy, this is a HUGE issue. it is incredibly dangerous for me if I collapse in a line

I have POTS. I've been told "Then don't plan a trip to Disney then." when I said standing in heat for long periods of time is hard for me.

I am allergic to the sun, and can’t stand out in the sun for long periods of time or I will break out into hives and they can spread internally and cause me to get light head.

Yes! I have POTS and the das has been a lifesaver when we’ve gone. When we went in February I actually passed out twice! Now I won’t qualify.

When I went to Disneyland, I had to wear earplugs because I have sensory issues and it’ll hurt my ears if it’s too loud.

I’m curious how all the people with pots deal with waiting in line to go through security, for the monorail, to get their lunch at a QS…so it’s just the ride lines that are an issue?

It makes so mad because as I’m trying to get my das pass a woman behind me was telling her friend “just tell them you can’t wait in line for anxiety”.

I paid for the disney genie pass and scooter because I'm hypermobile so standing kills me. walking I do better with but standing hurts. I paid 60 for scooter and 25-45 a day for genie. no complaints

In the uk you just have to show some form of proof at theme parks of your disability and then people can’t take advantage of it, I have cystic fibrosis so can’t stand for hours at a time

My son has epilepsy and was diagnosed recently so we haven’t been to Disney in a bit. We are going in June and I was hoping we could use DAS to help him 🫤

The bigger issue is that das doesn’t work. The lines are too long as too many folks are using it. I am a person who previously used it and now can’t, but on my last trip it was nearly useless
