No one is allowed to point out my odd cutting angle in the first frame as I was trying to hold it in a way so you could see it cut 😬 last week, I had the pleasure of carrying the @metal_complex x @kunwu_knives_official collaboration knife, the Excalibur. Metal Complex has been in the Knife review space for several years now and has handled thousands of Knives. He is also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pocket knife design and his videos have taught me more about knives than anyone. Reason to say, it is really exciting to see him come out with a Knife design and even more exciting to have the honor carrying it. Right out of the box, this thing is wicked cool. The action surprised me because it was *that* smooth. The handle, while a bit large for my hand feels very comfortable. When I broke down my first cardboard box with this knife, I couldn’t believe how SHARP it was. MC mentioned the quality with steel and heat treat the comes with Kunwu knives, which is a big reason on why he wanted to partner with them for his first ever design. I would love to see a smaller rendition of this knife as the handle is a bit too large for me personally. The milling on the handle is really beautiful and the overall look of the knife is very clean with the logo strategically placed on the pivot. In all honesty, I had been on the fence about designing a pocket knife myself and had a prototype in hand I was not too sure about. Holding MC’s design honestly made me realize instantly that I needed to go back to the drawing board. Congrats Metal Complex on the exciting new design, what a fantastic blade that has come to life!
