the bismark only sunk 1 ship in its life the only reason why its mentioned so much is because of of a magazine hit and the speed at which it sunk the hood, apart from that it is an unremarkable ship

I hate that this is used to hype Bismark. Read studies about it, it hit the only 3 cm line on the entire hood where it could pierce into the ammo. Luck. Bismark was a bit above average, nothing more.

Lmao the hood basically dealt the death blow to the bismarck in its first volley (it struck the oil purification plant on board which caused it to leak allowing it to be spotted and couldn’t turn back
