My sister has epilepsy, and if she's having a bad seizure day, she'll use the disabled toilet because the door opens outwards, so if something happens we can get to her and she isn't blocking the door

I use these toilets when I’m on my periods because there is a sink. So it’s easier to clean my menstrual cup 😂

I have to use a disabled toilet bc I have autism and I hate the loud hand dryers and where I live all the disabled toilets are in separate like sections of the public toilets so I can’t hear them

My friend used to have to use the disabled toilet purely for the emergency cord. You couldn't tell she had a disability but sometimes she'd pass out and lose use of her legs so the cord was safer

Tbh I’m bigger so it’s harder to use the smaller stalls because they legit are the smallest things and it’s just a tight space

I have POTS & use it even if I don't have my mobility aid with me. This way if I fall, I won't end up more injured or stuck

Im 15 years old and I have really bad arthritis in pretty much my whole body, to the point I need the handle bars to help me stand up or else it hurts really bad.

I use them because I am usually alone with two children under two and it is the only place big enough to take a pushchair & safely confine a toddler.

I'm autistic and public loos can be very hard for me, the cubicles are small and there are sometimes lots of people and noise, it's just a better loo to use and I won't get as overwhelmed

i must admit I happen to use disabled restrooms in two occasions: on my period to clean up my cup and when I REALLY am about to wee on myself because I can't hold it anymore and the others are busy

I use it because I have bad clostrophobia (which start in a regular toilet where I was locked) I always worry I'm not allowed but I just can't go in all this small space without panicking...
